An all-inclusive introduction to carpentry workshop for women (cis, trans, and non-binary). Join the all-female crew of carpenters and homebuilders to learn safe operation of power and hand tools. Two consecutive Saturdays will be spent building together to empower women to feel confident and capable of tackling carpentry projects. Participants will build sawhorses for the sponsors on the first day and learn safe operation of power tools. The second day will be spent building tool boxes for each participant to take home and brainstorming personal projects with the crew. Registration will be $45 per person, with the option of a partial scholarship. Optional catered lunch for both days is available for $15.
