cheryl denis

Account Executive

Originally from Falmouth and a self-described fifth generation true Yankee thrifter, Cheryl is a lifelong environmentalist and an active community volunteer in greater Portland. She has served as a Leader of Mom to Mom of Maine (where she started a Green Living group); past President of her daughter’s school PTA (where she won a grant to have recycling and compost bins made for the lunchroom and another to install a new and bigger bike rack); a Girl Scout Leader and Portland’s Girl Scout Manager; and a past president of the North Deering Neighborhood Association. She has volunteered with the Environmental Health Strategy Center, testifying at the Maine legislature against chemicals in children’s products, and served on the Children’s Health Advisory Board. Cheryl lives in Portland with her husband and two daughters. She loves to be surrounded by family and nature, and to carry on the camping, hiking and Yankee thrift traditions with which she was raised.
