about our Nonprofit beneficiary
Every year, we donate a portion of Green Home + Energy Show ticket proceeds to a Maine nonprofit organization. This year’s beneficiary is passivhausMAINE, a nonprofit dedicated to carbon reduction in the built environment through education and advocacy. They host statewide trainings, lectures, webinars, and site walks with the goal of creating community and educating professionals and homeowners on the benefits, processes, and innovations in high-performance building in Maine. Previous nonprofit beneficiaries include The Ecology School, Wild Seed Project, Maine Foodscapes, WindowDressers, and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland.
