Maine Heritage Timber Frames is a team of builders that design and build timber frame buildings. We are a small business based in Lisbon Falls that is dedicated to preserving the timelessness of the craft.
Our design philosophy is rooted in a place of connectedness. We aim to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and in harmony with the surrounding architecture and natural world.
Our frames are laid out and cut by hand in our shop in Lisbon Falls. The art of timber framing involves shaping each joint to create a strong interlocking structure. Traditional joinery techniques are used to connect the timbers without the need for nails or screws, resulting in a timeless wooden construction.
