Larkspur Design is a firm committed to creating artistic and ecologically-balanced landscapes that foster curiosity and encourage nature-inspired stewardship. We have a particular passion for incorporating native plant species from New England, recognizing their importance for local ecosystems. Our goal is to enhance the beauty, biodiversity, and overall health of each space, using high quality plants from local nurseries and organic, eco-conscious materials.
Larkspur Design projects vary in scale from small garden designs to large, whole property designs. Each project is tailored to the clients’ goals along with prioritizing soil health, biodiversity, and the needs of the flora and fauna surrounding the site.
Sustainability Statement
As we rapidly lose truly ‘wild’ places to development, it is critical that we carve out habitats for insects and other animals in developed areas wherever possible. An ecological landscape is a multi-functional solution to the multi-faceted challenges of habitat loss, urbanization, and climate change.
