Sustainability
In our 175-year history, we’ve only experienced two eastern white pine harvest cycles. It takes 80-100 years before pine trees mature, making our business a long-term commitment. Our sawmills run with zero-waste of raw materials, 100% of log fiber utilized. Sawdust by-products are used in place of fossil fuels, and we generate power through turbines, converting otherwise wasted steam from drying lumber into power.
