Forum 12 • passivhausMAINE

passivhausMAINE's twelfth annual forum will be convening Maine's high-performance building community this February 27, 28 and March 1st in Portland.

The three-day event is slated to be the biggest convention yet in Maine to cover passive building, sustainable design, new building products and technologies, Maine's green workforce and the built environment.

Winter Forum 12 will be an exploration of the theme of "Beyond the 100-Year Building". Topics will focus on resilience in extreme weather for human comfort, security, and materials conservation, as well as a look backward to see how we can carry our existing building stock forward with strategies for low-carbon retrofits. The event will include keynote presentations from designers, builders and entrepreneurs, as well as group seminars and a local sitewalk of a high-efficiency project.
