Gardening for Biodiversity Book Launch • Wild Seed Project

Every year, we publish a guide to help you translate big picture ideas in ecology, biodiversity and climate science into practical advice you can apply in your own growing spaces. Our latest guide is no exception: Gardening for Biodiversity: Native Plants for the Northeast, celebrates the dazzling diversity of adaptations found across native plant species. It’s a step-by-step guide to creating a garden full of life.

May 22 is also the International Day for Biodiversity - an opportunity to recognize the importance of biodiversity and celebrate the ways we can support thriving ecosystems wherever we live.

In celebration, come join us for a mix & mingle at the excellent Back Cove Books in Portland. There will be time to ask questions, share your gardening experiences, and get to know each other, the wonderful people of the Wild Seed Project community. Members, volunteers, longtime gardeners and novices alike — all are welcome! Light refreshments will be served
