12th Annual Polar Bear dip and dash in support of NRCM

Be bold in the cold for the 12th year in a row! NRCM's chilling and thrilling 5k + polar bear dip into the Atlantic Ocean returns to Back Cove/East End Beach on New Year's Eve!

Festivities include a DJ spinning celebratory music at the 5k finish line, photo ops with polar bear mascots, and screaming mayhem into the ocean! It's a wildly fun event for a great cause!

This annual event raises much-needed funds to help combat climate change & its effects on Maine's environment. With weather patterns changing from one extreme to the next, a rising sea level, and habitat loss becoming more severe, NRCM works hard to advocate for energy efficiency, clean air, & renewable energy policies at the State House. Every cent you raise will be used to directly support this work to reduce emissions & realize a clean energy future.

The registration fee to dip, dash, or both is $30 until November 15th and $35 after that time. Plus, friends and family can support your efforts & give you a chance to win prizes worth up to $1,000!
