NRCM 2020 Conservation Leadership Awards

Please join The Natural Resource Council of Maine for a very special evening in which they will honor four individuals who have given so much of themselves for the good of us all and who have done extraordinary work protecting Maine’s environment. They will be honoring an activist working to stop the Central Maine Power (CMP) corridor, a University of Maine professor, a local solar business owner, and a lifelong and inspiring advocate for Maine’s North Woods who served as NRCM’s Forests & Wildlife Director for almost three decades. These exceptional individuals are this year’s recipients of our Conservation Leadership Awards.

Typically, the gathering is in-person, but in following safety recommendations due to the pandemic, they will be celebrating this year’s award winners at an online event on Thursday, October 22 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Please join NRCM, from the comfort of your home, as they honor the contributions of these individuals and hear directly from them:
